The client wanted a family home that maximised outlook from the kitchen, dining and master bedroom areas, while creating a sheltered outdoor entertaining space protected from prevailing westerly winds.
-
VDP Construction was involved across early costing, planning and project management, working closely with the client and architect to support the design intent while keeping the project clear and well coordinated.
-
The exposed hilltop site required careful planning, particularly around weather exposure, material detailing and the execution of vaulted ceilings across the kitchen and dining areas.
Internal schist work also required a high level of coordination and craftsmanship to achieve the desired finish.
